Though you have perhaps heard of the Cayman Islands as synonymous with billionaire’s offshore investment accounts, there’s more to this island chain than banking havens and tax breaks. Made up of three islands—Grand Cayman and its two sister islands Cayman Brac and Little Cayman—some of the world’s most beautiful beaches are on the Cayman Islands. As a world-class diving hub, there are a number of marine parks that are legendary among divers. The island has colorful marine and wildlife, ranging from curious and friendly monkeys to brightly colored birds and gentle stingrays that will make your honeymoon truly unforgettable.
Couples wishing to marry in the Cayman Islands must present proof of citizenship (e.g. passport or birth certificate) and a non-residents marriage license. Divorce and death decrees are also required if applicable. For more information, check with your Certified Destination Weddings Specialist.

Considered to be one of the ultimate Caribbean beaches by many travel magazines, Seven Mile Beach has gorgeous white sands and calm, clear water. It’s also a great spot for shallow snorkeling or parasailing. On the island of Cayman Brac, there are a number of beautiful coves and limestone bluffs for a more secluded beach experience. On the north side of Grand Cayman, Rum Point has great snorkeling and swimmer-friendly shallow waters.
Activities & Tourist Attractions
The Stingray City Sandbar is one of the top attractions, where the normally shy animals gather by the hundreds to be fed from local dive and fishing boats. It’s also a popular snorkeling site, with dramatic ship wrecks and colorful coral reefs. In Cayman Brac, try a dive through the Russian warship which sunk in the 90’s and has diverse marine life. On land, the rugged Mastic Trail will get you up close to curious parrots and iguanas, or try an excursion through a local cave. The island also has a number of excellent shops with duty-free purchasing.
